Hi Everyone - I am going to be the new school therapy dog. At the moment I am still with my brother and sisters in Somerset playing and running around on a farm. There are 3 small girls in the family who bring their friends around to play with me and my siblings so I am getting used to little humans! The children at Courtlands have been choosing my name this week and Lulu was the favourite. I am going to live with Charlotte and her family and come to school with her every day. At first I am going to be with Charlotte, Mr Earnshaw and Mrs Lawrence in their office. I am going to meet all of the children over the next few weeks - I can't wait but Charlotte says that it must be done slowly as I am only little and I might get frightened. When I have had all of my injections, I am going to go to puppy school to do my learning so at first I might make some mistakes but that won't matter as the adults will help me. I am going to keep a diary to let everyone know how my learning is getting on so watch this space .............
I am now living with my new family - Charlotte, Matt, Charlie and Ben; there are 3 more but they are at University so I haven't met them yet. There is also Max the dog, Reuben the cat and Humphrey the tortoise. Max the dog is like me but old. I have tried to get him to play but he doesn't seem that interested however he is very cuddly to snuggle into when I am tired. He says that I need to calm down a bit because he can't keep up. !
I have been to the vet to have my first injections - I am not allowed to go for walks yet but Charlotte and Matt carry me everywhere. I have been shopping - that was fun but it seemed to take a long time to buy some milk because everyone wanted to say hello to me - I loved that as well.
My first visit to the vets
Yippee, I have started school and it was so much fun. Everyone was so friendly. My new friends are trying really hard not to run up to me and to ask Charlotte before stroking me. I have been in the office mainly with Charlotte, Mr Earmshaw and Mrs Lawrence but I do attend staff meetings and in the mornings before the children come in I like to go around and give everyone a 'Lulu Snuggle' to set them up for the day. My other favourite place is LOTC with Miss Izzy and Miss Grace. They are great fun but they won't let me chase the chickens. I did sneak in and actually it wasn't very nice because the chickens started chasing me so maybe I won't try that again! - Charlotte said I wasn't choosing green when I did that - not sure what that means! 😏
Ooh how snuggly I am in Miss Grace's pouch!
I hope all my Courtlands' family are enjoying their half term holiday. Phew, mine so far has been really busy. I have had two new friends staying - Teddy (17 month Labrador) and Ruby (18 month Border Terrier). It has been so much fun playing with them - my favourite is the teasing game! One of us finds a toy and runs around not letting the others get hold of it - Teddy is best at the game because he has the longest legs. Charlotte and Matt have also been taking me out in the car everyday - they say I am getting better - I do cry for a little while because I want to be sitting on Charlotte's lap! I have visited lots of shops and had strokes and cuddles from people - if I can I also try to give them a kiss. I was allowed to stay up late last night and go out in the dark to visit some friends - I got a bit tired so Taliah gave me a cuddle x

I need to update you all on my learning. Charlotte and Matt say that I am getting better everyday. I am now quiet at night - I do still get up for a wee in the night because I am not able to last 8 hours yet. I am trying to get better at daytime crate training but I don't like being left on my own - Charlotte and Miss Izzy say that I need to learn to spend a little time on my own in the crate sometimes as it is a safe place for when they are busy in school. Charlotte though says that she is really proud of me because I can now sit, wait (for about 20 seconds) and lie down on command. She says I am the cleverest puppy ever! Charlotte has now started playing loud noises through the iPad - she says they are firework sounds to get me ready for November 5th - to tell you the truth they don't bother me at all!
This is me getting used to my daytime crate - it has lovely fluffy blankets for me to snuggle into.
Charlotte says that it takes a family to make a mess in the home so the whole family need to help to keep it tidy. I have decided that my daily chore is to do the pre-wash of the plates in the dishwasher. I am so helpful - I think I am choosing greens because I am being kind.
I am working very hard helping my home family keep the house clean and tidy! It is a tough job but someone has to do it!
Matt had his hair cut today so I went with him to make sure he didn't choose a funny hairstyle! Luckily the hairdresser did not cut my hair - she said I'm pretty just the way I am. The sound of the clippers didn't frighten me either.

Today I had a play date with two dachshunds called Ruby and Wilbur. Wilbur and I played lots while Ruby barked at birds in the garden - don't ask me why she does that! Even though Wilbur is a bit bigger than me at the moment we had great fun. Charlotte says that in a few weeks time I will be much bigger than him - I will try to be gentle!
Me and my new best friend Wilbur
Today I went girlie shopping with Charlotte and Miss Snowden. We had great fun and talked to lots of people. Shopkeepers were very kind letting me in their shops - I was desperate to get down but I am not allowed yet until I have had my second vaccination.
The very friendly bakers in the bakery and me choosing some pretty jewellery for Miss Snowden.
I went back to school today but there were no children - it was something called a non-pupil day. This is when the staff come into school for training and the children get another day at home. I didn't really understand the training so I amused myself with a yoghurt pot instead. Charlotte says why bother buying me expensive toys if I am so happy with playing with rubbish!
The children are back with me at school which I love. We had a fire alarm go off yesterday - I tried to sleep through it but Mrs Case took me out on to the playground with everyone else to make sure I am safe. I am loving LOTC but I am getting a little cold so Charlotte is going to buy me coat - hurray more girlie shopping!
I don't think this coat is quite my size - I need one that fits!
I don't really like being left on my own during day even if it is for a few moments so Charlotte has bought me a companion to help me! So Teddy will come everywhere with me so I can cuddle him in the day if I need to be in my crate for a little while to keep me safe. I am very good at night though in my crate.
Good week at school this week - I have been doing lots of learning and trying to help my friends at Courtlands when they feel sad or cross. The weather hasn't been very nice so I have been mainly with Charlotte in the office. I like being in there checking the bins! Don't understand why the adults don't like me spreading the contents across the room - it makes the office more lived in!
I get a bit tired sometimes - so Miss Izzy helps me!
Everyone is so lovely in my Courtlands' family. Aunty Helen has bought me a fun toy which I keep in LOTC and today I spent the whole afternoon happily chewing on an antler from Aunty Carol. It was lucky I was quiet because I did lots of whistle training with my friend Sean later in the afternoon and started learning how to stay with Courtney. They both said I was really clever because I am doing so well. Tell me, what is that game when you kick a ball around the playground - that looked fun so I tried joining in with Mr Bickle but I then had to concentrate on my own learning!
Yum, yum but it is sooooo hard!
And the presents keep coming to keep me entertained; thank you Mrs Ward and Mrs Kirby xxxxxx
Today I had a fab evening because I went to a puppy party at my vets. There were lots of other puppies for me to play with to get me used to other dogs - it is called puppy socialisation! We were also given the chance to explore the vets so we don't get frightened when we have to go there if we are ill or hurt. I loved playing with a beagle puppy and a cockerpoo. I am going to sleep well as I am soooooooo tired x. Night night xxxx
We are just playing - honest - we are all happy because we are wagging our tails!
It was Children in Need today - I have made a new friend. He had soft fur like me.
Hurray - I have had my last vaccinations - in a weeks time I can go for walks wherever I like because I am fully covered - thank you Charlotte and Matt. I also had a microchip put in so if I get lost Charlotte and Matt can find me. And I was wormed and took a flea tablet so though pesky fleas and ticks don't like my blood and so won't want to stay on my body.
This is Steve, my vet. He is very clever and kind.
I have new coat - it is the same colour as the children!
